The cover is made of heavyweight 18 oz cotton duck canvas that will age beautifully.

The frame is hand-made from durable but lightweight hardwood and assembled with stainless steel hardware. Its compactness when folded makes it easy to take along on any adventure, without compromising style or comfort.

Originally designed in 1855 by British engineer J.B. Fenby, the ‘Tripolina’ style became widely known in Europe as an officer’s chair used on military campaigns.

It also grew in popularity with safari hunters, explorers, and adventurers worldwide.
